Home Business, Telecommuting and Freelance Work-at-Home Job Ideas

Picture
If you have a sincere passion to work from the comfort of your own home, hopefully, you will enjoy this article. For the past several years, I have been searching for the perfect work-at-home opportunity which would allow me to create my own daily schedule with flexible hours.

Most importantly, I was seeking legitimate jobs which would permit me to work when it was a conducive time for me each day, whether it was early in the morning or later in the evening. I wanted to balance my work duties with my daily family duties.

My professional education is actually in the health care field. I worked as a nurse in the hospital environment for several years. After doing some extensive research, I realized that trained medical transcriptionists are possibly able to work from home. My next step was to enroll in a distance education course and I successfully earned a diploma in medical transcription.

A few years later, I was fortunate to become an online instructor for medical assisting courses. I sincerely enjoyed teaching the students online and communicating on an administrative level within the educational department of the accredited online college.

Currently, at the time that I am writing this article, I am now a successful eBay top-rated seller. I bought myself a professional tabletop photo studio and I taught myself how to take great digital photos of the products that I wanted to sell online.

However, my very favorite work-at-home opportunity is freelance writing. I had lots of fun creating two web sites and a blog relating to the topic of medical transcription.

Other topics that I really enjoy writing about are psychology, time management and home organizing. I have found there are so many advantages to working from home. When you have a sincere passion for what you do for your career, it doesn't even seem like work!

There are many legitimate work-at-home job ideas. Some of these are more geared towards a home business environment. Other job ideas involve telecommuting or freelance work. Please keep in mind that many of these careers may require professional education and possibly a license/certification to do the work. It is comforting to know there are many accredited online educational programs to fit the needs of potential students.

Here is my list to the best of my knowledge of some home business, telecommuting or freelance work-at-home job ideas. (Some of these jobs may require you to leave the home for a portion of the work, but the position may be home-based. Also, some positions may be referred to as an independent contractor position, freelance or possibly even part-time or full-time with a company.)

Currently, freelance writing and eBay selling work out the very best for my individual schedule to work from home. For my freelance writing, I try to choose the ideal time of day that works well for writing my articles. I find that I am always trying to write down my creative ideas for my articles that I want to write in the near future.

Also, I try to make a good habit of completing my freelance writing in a step-by-step manner. If I only have a small amount of available time, I can begin writing an article from my idea list about a subject that I understand very well. On the other hand, if I have adequate time, I can write an article that requires additional research on my part.

I routinely make short-term and long-term goals for myself with my work-at-home freelance writing plan and my family responsibilities. A good balance is a helpful key to success. People who enjoy their work seem to be more productive and happier in life!
